Step-by-Step Usage Guide
Follow these instructions to use the XLT Oven Cleaning Tool effectively and ensure your oven stays in optimal working condition:
- Turn Off the Gas and Unplug the Power: Before starting, ensure safety by turning off the gas supply and unplugging the oven.
- Remove the Front Panel and Conveyor Flaps: Begin by removing the front panel of the conveyor. Next, take off the conveyor flaps on both sides of the oven.
- Remove Endloss and Air Plates: Utilize the Endloss & Return Air Plate Removal Tool to detach the endloss and return air plates. This will allow access to the oven’s internal components.
- Remove the Upper Fingers: Carefully remove the upper fingers from the oven.
- Hold Up the Conveyor: Use the previously removed panel knobs to hold up the conveyor, providing clearance for the next steps.
- Remove the Lower Fingers: Push the fingers to one side, then start removing them from the last finger. This technique creates enough room to easily remove the rest.
- Scrub and Scrape: Attach the Scraper Blade and Brush to the cleaning tool. Use the bristles to scrub the tops of all the fingers, ensuring they are free of debris. Then, use the blade side to scrape the bottom of the bake chamber, removing any baked-on residue.
- Reinstall Lower Fingers: Switch to the Finger Guide Head, ensuring the head is positioned opposite the leverage pad. Reinsert the lower fingers, and use the guide tool to lift them onto the openings.
- Reinstall the Upper Fingers: After removing the panel knobs from under the conveyor, insert the upper fingers and align them with the openings.
- Reinsert Endloss and Return Air Plates: Use the gripper tool to reinstall the endloss plates and return air plates.
- Final Assembly: Reattach the conveyor flaps, followed by the front panel.
